The first illustration is a book-cover, based on the made-up title. The other illustration shows a scene I think would be in the book, if the story I came up with was actually written. I believe a fitting story would be that of Melody Pond, the 1890’s private detective, charged with a crime she doesn’t remember committing. Throughout the story, Melody Pond tries to solve the mystery. In the drawing, she can be seen running away from, or towards, a friend… or a foe.
